Children’s Rights Alliance for England

The Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) seeks the full implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in England.

CRAE protects the human rights of children by lobbying government and others who hold power, by bringing or supporting test cases and by using regional and international human rights mechanisms. We provide legal information, raise awareness of children’s human rights, and undertake research about children’s access to their rights.

Anne Longfield OBE is the Children’s Rights Director for England. Together they make sure that young people who live away from home or who are receiving social care support have a say on issues that are important to them, as well as advising on children’s rights and issues that will make life better for them.
